Synopsis

Ana and her best friend Luís were born and raised in São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores, with a tight-knit religious community steeped in tradition. When Ana's old friend Cloé returns and Luis further expresses his gender fluidity, their once intimate community begins to feel stifling instead.
